On Thursday, November 20th, 2025, we will be breaking ground at Sky Meadows Park by planting 27 mature, native trees in and around the picnic area to support the park’s educational programs, promote biodiversity, and enhance the space for all to enjoy. Tree species to include: Shumard Oak, Sugar Maple, Chinkapin Oak, White Dogwood, Shagbark Hickory, Sweet Gum, and American Sycamore.
